It feels like forever since we closed down, although in reality it’s been less than 4 months. It has been a strange time however, not helped by the fact that the day the lock-down was announced the sun came out and pretty much shone for the next 3 months! Had we been open as usual I suspect we would have been fully booked with guests enjoying the terrace and hot tub and making the most of the wonderful landscape around us. Instead we have echoed around an empty house and like everyone else followed events on the news and online and wondered whether we would ever be the same again.
But now there are signs of hope. Following the announcement by the Welsh Government on June 19th, and after careful consideration of all official guidance, we are delighted to announce that we have opened bookings for all 3 of our apartments for stays from July 13th onwards. This reopening is subject to government confirmation that infection rates across the country continue to fall so we are currently retaining our ‘book with no deposit’ policy so any booking can be made without risk. We will reassess this over the coming weeks and gradually move back towards our standard booking and cancellation terms.
The safety of our guests is and always has been our top priority. We want you to enjoy a relaxing stay here at Bryn Melyn and we will do all we can to make this happen. In order to protect everyone - guests and ourselves - we will be introducing some new rules and protocols. These will include enhanced cleaning and sanitising procedures and some restrictions on activities and facilities. We know these may have an impact on the way you normally holiday but we thank you in advance for assisting us by complying with these new policies.
